WATER DRESS.

PRODUCTION\PROCESS

Created during an artist residency on Toronto Island, Water Dresses explores the design possibilities of working with natural processes and events - namely, the Toronto Island flood in 2017 left parts of the island impassable.

Nature’s transformative qualities can be slow or fast, productive or destructive. In the beginning, there were eight Storm Dresses; only seven came home, and the flood swept one away.
