NEGATIVITY / ABSENCE/

How can negativity or nothingness be used as a method to unfold new directions?

I set out to explore how negativity or nothingness beyond a philosophical motive can be used as a design strategy. The confrontation with nothingness toys with negativity as

a) absence and 

b) a nothingness which produces a new result. 

A. AIR-TABLE is a tablecloth suspended between four poles. It seeks stability without providing a table surface.
